About The Teaching Clinics
AESTHETIC EDUCATION. CLINICAL CONFIDENCE. The Teaching Clinics is an independent aesthetic education hub based in Manchester. Created by experienced aesthetic nurse prescribers Joanne and Antoinette for practitioners who want to learn, develop and elevate their clinical practice. Joanne and Antoinette deliver practical, evidence based aesthetic training, CPD and mentorship, combining clinical knowledge with hands-on experience in a supportive realistic teaching environment. From foundation level training to advanced techniques, our aim is simple; to help practitioners become safer more knowledgeable and more confident in aesthetics. Our teaching is focused on more than simply learning a technique. We explore anatomy, assessment, consultation, treatment planning, product choice, complications, and the clinical decision-making that sits behind every treatment. Whether you’re taking your first steps into aesthetics or looking to refine and expand your existing skill set, the teaching clinics provides education designed to develop practitioners not just teach techniques.

Microneedling and Skin Health CPD
A comprehensive CPD course for medical professionals who want to deliver safe, evidence-based microneedling treatments. The course covers skin anatomy and physiology, collagen induction therapy, wound healing, Fitzpatrick skin classification, patient selection, contraindications, device and cartridge selection, treatment depths, safe techniques, infection prevention, consultation, consent, aftercare and complication management. Learners will complete supervised practical training and a competency-based assessment in microneedling. The course also explains how professional skincare, homecare and treatment planning can support skin health and maintain treatment outcomes.

Bespoke Aesthetic Mentoring Workshop
Elevate your skills. Refine your technique. Build your confidence. I’ll be spoke aesthetic mentoring day is designed exclusively for already trained aesthetic practitioners who want to take their practice to the next level. This is not a standardised training day. The entire 6 hours is tailored around you your experience your areas for development and the treatments you want to perfect. Whether you want to refine your injecting technique improve your consultation and assessment skills develop your facial assessment and treatment planning or gain greater confidence treating more complex patients we build a day around exactly what you need. WHAT WE CAN COVER Your mentoring day can focus on one treatment or multiple treatment modalities. Including but not limited to: Advanced facial assessment and treatment planning. Dermal fillers and facial balancing. Mid face lower face and full face rejuvenation. Anti wrinkle treatments. By stimulators and regenerative aesthetics. Skin boosters and injectable skin treatments. Polynucleotides. Advanced consultation and patient communication. Product selection placement and treatment strategy. Managing asymmetry and challenging presentations. Complication awareness of management. Building confidence in clinical decision-making. You will have the opportunity to observe, discuss practice and treat and close once one guidance, allowing you to ask questions for and receive honest constructive feedback throughout the whole day. Foundation Dermal Fillers and Wrinkle Relaxers CPD
A comprehensive two-day foundation course combining wrinkle relaxing treatments and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for registered healthcare professionals beginning their training in injectables. The wrinkle relaxing element provides the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to assess, plan and safely perform treatments to the three principal upper-face areas: the glabellar complex, frontalis and lateral canthal lines. Learners will develop an understanding of facial anatomy, muscle function, static and dynamic wrinkles, ageing, patient assessment and the relationship between the brow elevators and depressors. The dermal filler element develops the knowledge and practical skills required to assess the whole face, identify individual anatomical variation and create safe, proportionate treatment plans. Supervised practical training and competency assessment cover basic lip enhancement, perioral lines, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Both elements cover health and safety, infection prevention, sharps management, consultation, contraindications, informed consent, clinical photography, product storage and selection, facial mapping, injection depth, treatment techniques, aftercare, clinical documentation and the recognition and management of complications, including vascular occlusion. As botulinum toxin is a Prescription Only Medicine, learners will be taught the legal role of the prescriber, the requirement for an individual patient assessment and prescription, and the responsibilities of the practitioner administering the treatment. This course is intended for appropriately qualified and registered healthcare professionals. Evidence of professional registration and appropriate insurance will be required.

Foundation Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments CPD
A comprehensive foundation course for registered healthcare professionals who are beginning their training in wrinkle relaxing treatments. The course provides the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to assess, plan and safely perform treatments to the three principal upper-face areas: the glabellar complex, frontalis and lateral canthal lines. Learners will develop an understanding of facial anatomy, muscle function, static and dynamic wrinkles, ageing, patient assessment and the relationship between the brow elevators and depressors. Training focuses on full upper-face assessment rather than treating individual lines in isolation. The course covers health and safety, infection prevention, sharps management, bloodborne pathogens, prescribing requirements, consultation, contraindications, informed consent, clinical photography, product storage, reconstitution, product-specific units, facial mapping, injection depth, treatment techniques, aftercare and clinical documentation. Learners will also explore patient expectations, treatment longevity, review appointments, complication prevention and the recognition and management of unwanted effects, including brow heaviness, brow ptosis, eyelid ptosis, asymmetry and excessive lateral brow elevation. As botulinum toxin is a Prescription Only Medicine, learners will be taught the legal role of the prescriber, the requirement for an individual patient assessment and prescription, and the responsibilities of the practitioner administering the treatment. Training includes pre-course theory, educator-led demonstrations, supervised live-model treatment and a structured practical assessment. Learners must meet the required safety-critical and area-specific competency criteria before certification is issued. Successful learners will be certificated in the treatment of the glabellar complex, frontalis and lateral canthal lines only. This course is intended for appropriately qualified and registered healthcare professionals. Evidence of professional registration and appropriate insurance will be required.

Advanced Lip Enhancement CPD
An advanced one-day practical course for registered medical professionals who already hold a foundation qualification in dermal fillers and have previous lip-filler injecting experience. The course covers advanced lip assessment, anatomy, individualised treatment planning, facial mapping, product selection, injection depth, advanced injection techniques and the safe use of needles and cannulas where appropriate. Learners will explore lip shaping, definition, projection, asymmetry correction, perioral rejuvenation and maintaining natural facial balance. Training includes vascular anatomy, complication prevention, recognition and emergency management, including suspected vascular occlusion. Learners will complete supervised live-model treatment and a structured practical assessment against clearly defined competency criteria. The course includes pre-course learning, one full practical training day, course materials, live models, practical assessment, aftercare guidance and CPD certification following successful completion. This course is intended for appropriately qualified and insured registered healthcare professionals. Evidence of foundation dermal filler training and current professional registration will be required.

Skin Care and Skin Health
A comprehensive course for medical professionals who want to develop a deeper understanding of skin health and deliver safe, effective skin treatments. The course covers skin anatomy and physiology, the skin barrier, cell turnover, ageing, collagen and elastin, Fitzpatrick skin classification, professional skin assessment and personalised homecare planning. Learners will also receive theoretical and practical training in dermaplaning, microneedling and hyaluronic acid skin boosters. Consultation, contraindications, treatment planning, infection prevention, consent, aftercare, complication recognition and UK professional responsibilities are included. Learners must successfully complete the required theory and practical assessments to receive certification in the treatments taught and assessed.

Foundation Dermal Fillers for Medical Professionals CPD
A comprehensive foundation course for registered medical professionals who are beginning their practice in hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to assess the whole face, identify individual anatomical variation and create safe, proportionate treatment plans. The course covers facial anatomy, skin and soft-tissue structure, patient consultation, consent, product selection, injection techniques, infection prevention, UK legal and professional responsibilities, aftercare and the recognition and management of complications, including vascular occlusion. Supervised practical training and competency assessment cover basic lip enhancement, perioral lines, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Other facial areas may be discussed during holistic facial assessment but are not included within the practical certification unless separately taught and assessed.

Advanced Wrinkle Relaxers CPD
An advanced botulinum toxin course for registered medical professionals who already hold a foundation qualification in botulinum toxin treatments and have previous injecting experience. The course develops the learner's ability to complete a full-face static and dynamic assessment rather than treating individual lines in isolation. Learners will assess facial proportions, muscle strength, asymmetry, compensatory movement and the relationship between the upper face, lower face, jawline and neck. Treatment planning focuses on balancing muscle activity while protecting normal facial expression and function. The course provides advanced theoretical and practical training in the treatment of the frontalis, glabellar complex and lateral canthal lines, together with masseter reduction, platysmal bands, lip flip and depressor anguli oris modulation for downturned oral commissures. Training covers facial and neck anatomy, patient selection, contraindications, consultation, prescribing requirements, product-specific units, reconstitution, facial mapping, injection depth, treatment techniques, conservative dosing, complication prevention and the management of unwanted effects. Learners will explore how the mentalis, nasalis and other surrounding muscles may contribute to full-face movement, asymmetry and treatment planning. These areas are discussed to support comprehensive assessment and facial harmonisation. The course includes pre-course learning, supervised live-model treatment and a structured practical assessment. Learners must demonstrate competence in consultation, anatomical assessment, treatment planning, aseptic technique, safe administration, patient monitoring, complication management, aftercare and clinical documentation before certification is issued. As botulinum toxin is a Prescription Only Medicine, treatment must follow a valid patient-specific prescription. Learners must understand the role of the prescriber, current face-to-face assessment requirements and their own professional responsibilities when prescribing or administering treatment. This course is intended for appropriately qualified, registered and insured medical professionals. Evidence of professional registration, foundation botulinum toxin training and appropriate insurance will be required.

Advanced Dermal Filler CPD
An advanced dermal filler course for registered medical professionals who already hold a foundation dermal filler qualification and have previous injecting experience. This course develops the learner's ability to assess the face as a whole rather than treating individual areas in isolation. Learners will consider facial proportions, profile, projection, asymmetry, volume loss, tissue quality and the relationship between the upper, middle and lower thirds of the face. Treatment planning focuses on creating balance and facial harmony while maintaining natural movement and individual characteristics. The course provides advanced theoretical and practical training in lip enhancement, cheek restoration, jawline sculpting and chin enhancement. It covers relevant arteries, veins, nerves, muscles, fat compartments and bony landmarks, together with facial mapping, product selection, injection depth, appropriate product volumes and advanced needle and cannula techniques. Learners will also develop their understanding of consultation, patient selection, contraindications, consent, clinical photography, complication prevention, vascular-occlusion recognition, emergency management, aftercare, documentation and maintenance planning. Additional facial areas may be discussed as part of full-face assessment and treatment planning. However, successful completion of this course provides practical assessment and certification for advanced lips, cheeks, jawline and chin only. Discussion or observation of another treatment area does not confirm practical competence or provide certification to perform that procedure. Training includes pre-course learning, supervised live-model treatment and a structured practical assessment. Learners must meet the specified safety-critical and area-specific competency criteria before certification is issued. This course is intended for appropriately qualified, registered and insured medical professionals. Evidence of professional registration, foundation dermal filler training and appropriate insurance will be required.
